Who are we?

What data do we process?

• Data you enter in a form yourself: name, email address, phone number, preferred date, number of people and your message.
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Bookings and gift cards via Tablefever: Tablefever processes that data under its own privacy policy.
• Technical data such as your IP address, browser and pages visited, via cookies (see below).

Why?

• To answer and handle your request, reservation or booking (performance of a contract).
• To send you our newsletter, only with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by emailing us.
• To keep our website working well and improve it (legitimate interest).
• To meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data. We work with a few service providers who process it for us: Squarespace (website, forms and newsletter), Tablefever (bookings and gift cards) and Google (map on the website). If you choose to book via Booking.com, Booking.com's privacy policy applies.

How long do we keep it?

No longer than needed for the purpose you gave it for. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Data we are legally required to keep is kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You may always access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and request a copy to take elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, email info@barwin.be. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
